Research Objectives:
O&P – Comparing Metabolic Demands While Hiking between Adults with Differing Amputation Levels and Non-Amputees; Amputee/Prosthetic acclamation, functional performance, and endurance assessment at altitude and glaciated environment.
PTS/TBI – Provide therapeutic environment at elevation with physically demanding activity for self-assessment and evaluation; Continued development of research protocols in support of IRB approval for prospective human subject research to assess for risk of post traumatic seizure and development of new neurological signs or symptoms or worsening of existing neurologic signs or symptoms in patients with history of TBI.
