Research Objectives:

O&P: Amputee/Prosthetic evaluation, range of movement (ROM), Buoyancy Trials, 50-meter SCUBA test (with and without prosthetic(s)), and SCUBA skills test;

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI): Continued develop of research protocols in support of IRB approval for prospective human subject research to assess for risk of post traumatic seizure and development of new neurological signs or symptoms or worsening of existing neurologic signs or symptoms in patients with history of TBI

Training Objectives:

To expand the CWVC cadre of SCUBA certified wounded and injured veterans who are available to participate in the SCUBA-17 challenge and future Challenges that involve and underwater research component.
