Here we go!
Most of our combat wounded and injured team arrived on Sunday to get situated in their rooms, get their gear assigned to them, and attend the briefing explaining our objectives and mission. There are a lot of moving parts, so keeping everyone on track, and understanding that this is going to be a very very busy week, is important.
On Monday morning, we all headed to the pool to make sure the gear that was assigned was working, it fit, and everyone’s weights were good for them. Buddies were helping get each other acclimated to their BC, regulator, mask, fins and snorkels.
Over the next week, we will be pushing these guys to collect data that will help future generations of amputees, and those effected by a TBI/PTS.
