In Honor of Megan Fitzgerald

Megan Marie Fitzgerald, age 17 of Franklin, TN, passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident.

Megan was a senior at Independence High School scheduled to graduate. She had earned an Excellence full tuition scholarship to Southern Illinois University specializing in Biomedical Engineering. Her goal was to be a prosthetist.

She was a year round swimmer for the Excel Swim Program and served as captain for the high school swim team.

Survived by: Marty and Melissa Fitzgerald of Franklin, TN; sister, Sarah Fitzgerald of Clarksville, TN; brother, Tyler (Emily) Fitzgerald; nephew, Levi Fitzgerald all of Ft. Bragg, NC; grandparents, Gerald and Susan Fitzgerald of Columbia, TN, Paul and Maria Hess of Sterling, IL, and other loving family members. Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 PM and a Prayer Service at 4:30PM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
