Summary of Sunday Day One of Sailing Challenge Galveston Texas

All 17 participants plus families checked in successfully. During the day, those who checked in went fishing, swimming and/or walked the docks. Drs. Brian Pinkston and Cheryl Lowry administered the IRB-backed cognitive assessment tests.

Delicious dinner at 1830 hosted by Jeannie Janota. After dinner, everyone heard a brief history of CWVC and Sea Star Base Galveston (SSBG), introduced themselves and reviewed the next day’s schedule, weather permitting. SSBG arranged for a bonfire in the evening, which drew everyone like moths to a light.
